How I Work

What you can be sure of when working with me is you will not be defined by your symptoms nor a diagnosis. At your pace, we will explore parts of you that have not received the care and attention they require. Together we will listen to the blockages of your life, not to judge them nor get rid of them, but to learn from them and transform them into something that serves you.

What My Patients Experience

My patients experience a greater depth of their sense of self. This comes with a greater capacity for self-compassion. Creativity is reawakened and is used to resolve and manage obstacles. Relationships are strengthened. Desires come into focus. Grief is honored and transformed into a life-giving force. Patients are empowered to leave the therapeutic relationship with a greater sense of autonomy and confidence.

Therapy Details

For those looking for more of the psycho-babble, I work from a relational attachment psychodynamic perspective. More simply put, this means I believe that the therapeutic relationship we have will be a useful tool for you to gain a greater understanding of yourself and experience yourself in new ways that are transformative. Unlike any other relationship in your life, our sole focus is to bring clarity and relief to your lived experience.

At times, we will talk about how our relationship can serve as a guide to the struggles you are running into. I also support patients with practical solutions to obstacles that they are running into through various other therapeutic methods.
